From the brand new Ranger Bass Boats to the North River Aluminum Jet Boats, just about every brand is showcased. Many marine dealers are present and are offering some of the lowest prices seen throughout the year – let’s face it, a boat show can be a serious discount for serious buyers.
Donny and I set up our Eastern Washington University booth just hours before the doors were opened to the public. As a club, we are raising funds to help with expenses related to fishing – gas for travel and money for gear. We are actively recruiting members to join the EWU Fishing Club whether or not you are an actual student. If you want to fish with some great people in the Spokane area, make sure to drop me an email and I’ll introduce you to some die hard bass, trout, and walleye anglers.
What’s most impressive about the Spokane Boat Show is the friendliness of everyone involved. Our booth is located in-between several fishing guide companies who are more than willing to share their success stories and helpful tips. For anyone looking for a guided trip in Washington State, I have three companies who I can suggest if you would like to hear them. Judging by their photos, “catching” seems to replace the word “fishing”. You can also catch fishing seminars daily for professional tips to help you with every aspect of fishing.
After day one, I must say that I received numerous inquiries about a company I am now representing – Leverage Landing Net. I will have a video and article dedicated to this new fishing net so stay tuned for coverage of one of the coolest products to hit the market. This net folds up for tight storage and is also deployed with one-hand. If you have fished by yourself or you fish tournaments, this net will simply impress you. It’s made in the USA and is backed by a 3-year warranty. More to come!
