Shimano Cardiff 301ANew Year’s Eve means more to us at FHC Outdoors than just a few drinks and a New Year’s resolution. We are dedicated to bringing you real world trials and tribulations from an angler’s perspective. Don’t worry, we won’t break our promise.

Kyle made great strides in 2010 hunting in the backwoods of Eastern Washington and we have yet to scratch the top of the water column when comparing our fishing expeditions. We are continually updating our HD video equipment and practicing our editing skills to bring you our latest experiences.

Many fail to realize that Kyle and I joined our personal blogs in August, 2010. From two separate sites, we agreed to create FHC Outdoors and within weeks began filming and writing articles. The 2011 season is going to be an exciting year for me personally and for FHC as a whole for several reasons.

Bass fishing season opens up in March for most area lakes and we plan on bringing you accurate scouting reports, gear reviews and detailed fishing episodes. As a novice tournament angler, I will also cover my experiences from FLW College Fishing as our Eastern Washington University team heads to California to do some work.

We have received overwhelming support from viewers and will continue to seek out these friendships along the way. Social Media such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have allowed us to communicate with some of the most friendly and knowledgeable personalities that we have ever met. Just look to the right of this article and click the “Follow Us” button to connect with us outside of our site.

It takes a lot of work when it comes to preparation, filming, editing, and starting all over again but we wouldn’t trade it for a piece of gold. Our family support is key, so thanks to our Moms, Dads and Wives for all that you do.

I would like to personally thank John  from River2Sea for his unmatched support. John brings abundant awareness to River2Sea’s image and has always offered advice when I needed it. From serious quality to unforeseen  innovations, River2Sea is a sleeping giant that will continue to raise the bar in the fishing industry.

On behalf of FHC Outdoors, we hope that you and your family enjoy a memorable 2011. Be sure to come back and share your experiences with us and we’ll be sure to say hello out on the water and in the woods.
